EuroMillions Jackpot Hits Record-Breaking £208 Million Ahead of Friday Draw

The EuroMillions jackpot has surged to an astonishing £208 million for the upcoming Friday draw on June 6, following Tuesday’s draw without a jackpot winner. According to National Lottery operator Allwyn, this staggering prize could make history as the largest jackpot ever claimed in the UK.

Tuesday’s winning numbers were 12, 15, 38, 47, and 48, with Lucky Stars 5 and 7. To claim the jackpot, players must correctly match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, highlighted the significance of the moment: “We are on the brink of potentially creating the biggest National Lottery winner the UK has ever seen—making a single player richer than celebrities like Adele and Dua Lipa, while earning the top spot on The National Lottery’s biggest wins list.”

The current record was set on July 19, 2022, when an anonymous player won £195 million. Before that, Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester won £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket on May 10, 2022. Another notable triumph occurred on November 26, 2023, when an anonymous ticket-holder scooped a £177 million jackpot, ranking as the third-largest win. So far this year, the biggest jackpot win was £83 million in January.

In addition to the headline prize, the Millionaire Maker feature guarantees at least one UK player will win £1 million during Friday’s draw. This secondary prize randomly selects one ticket holder among all participants.

With such an unprecedented jackpot on the line, excitement is reaching fever pitch as hopeful players dream of making history and becoming the UK’s biggest-ever lottery winner.
