An elderly man in his 70s was violently punched to the ground during an attack on Montpellier Parade in Cheltenham. The incident occurred around 7 pm on Thursday, 16 April. Following the assault, the victim suffered a headache and discomfort while eating, according to Gloucestershire Police.
Authorities are now appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a man who may hold vital information related to the attack. The police have released an image of this individual and urge anyone who recognizes him to come forward.
Gloucestershire Police stated: “A man in his 70s was punched to the floor by another man at around 7 pm on Thursday 16 April on Montpellier Parade. We believe the man in the released image may have information that could assist our investigation. Anyone who recognizes him is asked to get in touch.”
