This April, Cheltenham will be hosting a special Easter event at Sandford Park courtesy of The Salvation Army. The park will be transformed into a vibrant outdoor celebration complete with activities for all ages.
The event, taking place on Saturday, April 19 from 10am to 12pm near the park’s play area and coffee van, will feature an Easter trail recounting the story of the resurrection, craft stations, sports, conversation corners, free Bibles, and goody bags. All are welcome to join in the free festivities.
Rachel and Tom Dunham, leaders of The Salvation Army Cheltenham, are excited to bring the Easter spirit beyond the church walls and into the community. Rachel expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “This Easter, we’re taking the joy of the season beyond our four walls and into the open air—where all are invited to explore and reflect on the hope of resurrection."
