Detective Sergeant Sam Martin emphasized the impact of the operation: “Removing this volume of drugs and weapons from the streets of Gloucestershire reassures the community that we are committed to ensuring their safety. Seizing such significant illicit assets is a major setback for those profiting from crime. This operation sends a clear message that criminal activity will not be tolerated in our county.”
The operation received support from other local units, including the Neighbourhood Support Team, the Drone Unit, and the Neighbourhood Policing Team, underscoring a coordinated effort to disrupt organised crime in Gloucester.
Gloucestershire Constabulary reiterated that enquiries remain ongoing as they work to dismantle networks involved in drug trafficking and illegal arms possession within the region.
