Three men have been arrested in connection with a burglary at a home in Didbrook, near Cheltenham, following a dramatic police chase on Saturday afternoon.
At approximately 4:30 pm, a member of the public reported a break-in and saw three men fleeing the scene in a vehicle. Gloucestershire Police quickly identified the vehicle, a Skoda, which was discovered to be using false registration plates. Specialist Operations officers revealed the correct registration after further investigation.
The information was promptly shared with officers and the National Police Air Service assisted as the vehicle was believed to be heading towards Cheltenham. A pursuit ensued when officers located the car matching the description. The three suspects then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.

One man was apprehended near the vehicle after a police dog and handler intercepted him. The other two fled into a nearby field, but were soon detained with the help of the National Police Air Service; one was found hiding in a hedge.
The suspects, aged 18, 19, and 49, remain in police custody and face charges of burglary and failure to stop. The vehicle, found with cloned plates, has been recovered, and forensic teams have conducted investigations at the burglarized home.
