Known for pioneering popular dietary plans and writing numerous influential books, Dr Mosley consistently emphasized easy-to-adopt health tips that anyone could apply immediately. In the clip, he explains: “People often ask me what is the single ‘Just One Thing’ that has made the biggest difference to my life, and I think it is probably learning to do slow, deep breathing.
“It’s called 4-2-4. You breathe in for four seconds, hold for two, and exhale for four seconds. Doing this for just a minute or so can help you feel calm, especially if you find yourself waking up in the middle of the night.”
