The LEGO Group is set to launch an intricately designed LEGO Ideas Downton Abbey set, featuring 4,711 pieces and aimed at adult fans of the acclaimed television series and films by Carnival Films. This elaborate model faithfully replicates the grandeur of Highclere Castle, inviting enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the distinctive upstairs-downstairs world of the Crawley family estate.
This modular set enables builders to remove the top level, revealing detailed interiors including the kitchen, servants' hall, and Mr Carson’s office beneath. Above, the grand dining room, main hall, and library can be explored. Both the exterior architecture and interior touches, such as the iconic cedar tree, combine to make this set a refined décor item suitable for display in the home or office.
The design pays close attention to historical period details. These include a diverse array of lighting fixtures, an early electric mixer in the kitchen, and a candlestick telephone from the 1910s–1920s in Mr Carson’s office. Additional authentic touches feature period portraits, proper dining etiquette placements, and a servants' hall dining table arranged strictly according to rank.

Included with the set are 13 detailed Minifigures representing the Season 6 household cast: The Dowager Countess, Lord Grantham, Lady Grantham, Lady Mary, Lady Edith, Tom Branson, Mr Carson, Mrs Hughes, Mr Bates, Anna Bates, Thomas Barrow, Mrs Patmore, and Daisy Parker. These figures boast double-sided face prints and bespoke clothing elements, especially designed for seated poses at the dining table.
The LEGO Ideas Downton Abbey set originated as a fan submission by Czech designer Sebastian Veselka through the LEGO Ideas platform, where community support helps bring concepts to production. Sebastian reflected, “Rebuilding Downton Abbey as a LEGO set felt like the perfect way to celebrate the series personally, combining my passion for British architecture, fond memories of watching the show with family, and the 1920s atmosphere. Reaching 10,000 supporters in just three months was incredible, and I am immensely grateful to everyone who backed it. I can’t wait for fans to step inside the iconic Crawley family home recreated in LEGO bricks.”
The building journey includes subtle references to both the series and the fan designer, such as a servants' bell board marked “LEGO room,” newspapers displaying Sebastian’s initials “SV,” and a heart-shaped base for the cedar tree, a nod to the series’ romantic moments.
LEGO Ideas Downton Abbey (set number 21373) will be available exclusively to LEGO Insiders from 1 October 2026 and released to the general public on 4 October 2026, priced at £269.99 / $349.99. More details and purchasing options are available at LEGO.com/DowntonAbbey.
