A heated dispute has emerged between a local businessman and the developers of a new housing estate over the ownership of a mere two-brick high wall. The conflict centers around Lioncourt Homes' insistence on demolishing the ‘dwarf wall’ to establish an emergency access route, in accordance with their planning permission.

The businessman, Roger White, asserts that the diminutive wall, situated next to a 70-home development in Hempsted, Gloucester, is part of the land he inherited from his father in 1997. He argues that the developers, in their pursuit of an emergency access route, are disregarding his rights and failing to acknowledge his ownership of the wall.
