Police officers expressed deep concern after stopping a speeding vehicle driven by a 16-year-old with no licence and no insurance. The incident occurred just after midnight on Saturday, November 15, when Gloucestershire Police’s Cheltenham Neighbourhood Policing road unit pulled over a Citroën in the Cheltenham area for traveling at excessive speed.
Upon stopping the car, officers discovered six occupants inside a vehicle designed to seat only five. Most alarmingly, the driver was only 16 years old, unlicensed, and uninsured—a serious violation of road safety laws. Gloucestershire Police took to Facebook to highlight the dangers: “Our Roads Policing Unit stopped this Citroën in Cheltenham this morning after it was seen travelling a little too quickly. Inside?
