Dirty Business: David Thewlis and Jason Watkins Lead Star-Studded Channel 4 Drama

Channel 4’s latest factual-drama series, Dirty Business, is set to captivate audiences with its compelling exploration of water pollution in England. This three-part drama is inspired by an extensive decade-long investigation into the malpractices of England’s water companies, highlighting the stories of whistleblowers and victims whose lives have been profoundly affected by sewage-contaminated water.

The series boasts an impressive cast, including David Thewlis (Renowned for Harry Potter), Jason Watkins (The Crown), Asim Chaudhry (Tinsel Town), and Posy Sterling (Trigger Point). Completing the ensemble are Tom McKay, Jon Culshaw, Vicky Pepperdine, Craig Parkinson, Charlotte Ritchie, Chanel Cresswell, Lucia Keskin, and Alex Jennings.

Dirty Business follows the journey of two unlikely investigators who become alarmed when fish begin dying in the river near their tranquil Oxfordshire village. Their attempts to get answers from the local water company are met with evasiveness, prompting a deeper investigation that uncovers shocking truths still relevant today.
