Olwyn passed away peacefully at Charterhouse Care Home, Keynsham, on 1st July aged 90, reunited now with her husband John. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Helen, Pete, and granddaughter Sophie. Funeral at Westerleigh Crematorium, Waterside Chapel on Monday, 10th August at 11:30am. Family flowers only. A dear uncle and great-uncle from Westward Road, Ebley, passed on 1st July aged 89. Funeral at Gloucester Crematorium on Thursday, 23rd July at 10:30am. Donations may be made to the RSPB via Allen-White Funeral Directors.
Christine, wife of the late Alan Cameron-Johnson, passed peacefully on 23rd June aged 88. Much-loved mother of Alec, Veronica, Michael, and Louise, and adored nana. Funeral service at Cheltenham Crematorium Willow Chapel on Friday, 24th July at 10:30am. Family flowers only; donations to the Alzheimer’s Society appreciated. Christine loved the colour green; black attire not necessary.
Mike passed away at home on 8th July aged 86. Husband of Glennis and beloved father to Sally. Funeral at Gloucester Crematorium on Tuesday, 28th July at 12:30pm. Family flowers only. Donations to RSPCA welcomed.
Joan passed peacefully at home on 27th June, aged 94. Wife of the late Gordon, mother of Susan, Angela, Stephen, and John, and a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral on Thursday, 30th July at Cheltenham Crematorium Willow Chapel at 2:30pm. Donations to BookTrust welcome.
William Austin Craig (ex GCHQ) died on 29th May at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital aged 89. Beloved husband of Annie, father to Angela and Matthew, grandfather to William. Private cremation has taken place.
Cynthia passed away at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on 25th June aged 83. Widow of Cyril, mother to Graham and Ian, and grandmother to Edward and Sophie. Funeral at All Saints Church, Longhope, on Monday, 20th July at 12 noon. Donations to Cancer Research UK welcomed.
Michael, formerly of Ireland, passed peacefully at his home in Newmarket on 12th July aged 97. Beloved husband to Maureen and treasured father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Funeral at Newmarket Catholic Church on Friday, 24th July at 1:00pm. Family flowers only; donations to East Anglian Children’s Hospice appreciated.
Josie, devoted wife to Stewart and loving mother and grandmother, passed peacefully on 8th July aged 83. Funeral at Church of St Nicholas, Ashchurch, on Monday, 27th July at 11:00am, followed by burial. Family flowers only. Donations to Midlands Air Ambulance Charity welcome.
Robert passed peacefully at Saintbridge House, Gloucester, on 23rd May aged 67. Beloved son, brother, and uncle. A private cremation has been held; memorial service to be arranged. Family thanks extended to the care staff.
John died at Gracefields Care Home, Downend, on 7th July aged 93, reunited with wife Marlene. Funeral at Westerleigh Crematorium, Waterside Chapel on Wednesday, 12th August at 11:30am with a gathering afterwards. Donations to Bristol Haematology & Oncology Centre encouraged.
Sue passed peacefully on 19th June aged 69. Funeral at Cheltenham Crematorium Willow Chapel on Friday, 31st July at 9:30am. Flowers may be sent in her memory.
Rita MacDonald passed peacefully in Cheltenham General Hospital on 28th June. Funeral at Gloucester Crematorium on 20th July at 1:30pm. Donations to the Stroke Association appreciated.
John Kenneth Mallabone died on 3rd July aged 78. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, remembered for his kindness and community spirit. Funeral at Gloucester Crematorium on 31st July at 1pm. Donations to Stroke Association are welcome.
Pauline McCormick of Cheltenham passed on 21st June aged 84. Funeral at Cheltenham Crematorium Willow Chapel on Thursday, 16th July at 11:30am. Donations in lieu of flowers to The British Heart Foundation.
A beloved husband passed peacefully at home on 3rd July aged 89. Funeral on Thursday, 30th July, at Gloucester Chapel, Coney Hill Cemetery.
Mrs Postlethwaite of North Woodchester passed on 9th July aged 90. Funeral at Stroud Congregational Church on Friday, 31st July followed by committal at Gloucester Crematorium. Donations to Woodchester PCC welcome.
Ken Owen of Bishop’s Cleeve passed at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on 8th July aged 85. Funeral at Cheltenham Crematorium Oak Chapel on Wednesday, 29th July at 11am. Donations to Cancer Research UK encouraged.
John Parrott (Johnny) passed peacefully in his sleep. Funeral at Gloucester Crematorium, Coney Hill on Tuesday, 21st July at 3pm. Donations to The Dogs Trust appreciated.
Eileen passed on 9th July aged 84. A private family funeral to be held. Donations in memory to the Stroke Association.
Eric Rowlands, formerly of Dowty Electrics, passed peacefully on 7th July aged 81. A celebration of life will be held on 24th July at The Bumble Bee, Quedgeley. Donations to Macmillan Cancer Support accepted.
David passed peacefully on 1st July aged 89. Funeral at Cheltenham Crematorium Willow Chapel on Thursday, 13th August at 1:30pm. Donations to The Alzheimer’s Society welcomed.
Anthony Reynolds of Lydney passed peacefully surrounded by family. Funeral at Forest of Dean Crematorium on Tuesday, 21st July at 1:30pm.
