Taking place in central Gloucester over the course of a week, the first incident occurred on November 13, followed by another on November 17, and a third on November 18. The second incident saw the attempted theft of another bike, with a group of teenagers, one of whom was allegedly carrying a bladed weapon, approaching the rider. In the third incident, five young people tried to steal a bike outside McDonald’s, but two were apprehended by the police, and a samurai sword was recovered at the scene.

The teenage boys, aged 13, 14, and 17, have been released on bail pending further investigations. Inspector Ash Gardner of the Gloucestershire Police has condemned these attacks, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation and the authorities' commitment to ensuring the safety of the community.
