Davina McCall Hopes Lady Garden Challenge Accelerates Fight Against Gynaecological Cancers

Davina McCall expressed her hope that the recent Lady Garden Challenge has helped “fast-track” progress in the fight against gynaecological cancers. The annual fundraising event took place in London’s Battersea Park, drawing a crowd of 500 people who ran and walked to support the cause.

Joining Davina, the Lady Garden Foundation Ambassador, were notable celebrities including Trinny Woodall, Isla Fisher, Millie Mackintosh, and Leomie Anderson. The event also included the foundation’s co-founders Jenny Halpern Prince, Tamara Beckwith Veroni, and Clare Van Dam.

“I absolutely love this feel-good family event, and I’m thrilled to be back to lead and cheer on participants. It’s all about fun, fitness, and fundraising to help fast-track the Lady Garden Foundation’s revolution against the five gynaecological cancers," said McCall.

Participants ran and walked to raise awareness and funds for five key gynaecological cancers: ovarian, vulval, vaginal, cervical, and womb (uterine). Their efforts provide vital support for research and treatment improvements.

Event sponsors included KX private members health club, KXU premier pay-as-you-go boutique fitness, and ME+EM Modern Luxury British Designer Clothing. After crossing the finish line, participants received goody bags featuring donations from Trinny London, The Body Shop, FitFlop, Daye, and Vitabiotics, along with floral bouquets from Teffie.

The Lady Garden Foundation continues to rely heavily on public support to drive awareness and advance research against gynaecological cancers.
