David Beckham, the former football star, has provided insight into an aspect of his home life, revealing that he differs from his wife Victoria on aging-related health concerns. As he celebrates his 50th birthday today, Beckham shared that Victoria has become more cautious about certain activities as she has grown older.
Beckham discussed their differing perspectives on ageing during family trips, stating that he does not share Victoria’s cautious approach to slowing down as they grow older. He mentioned, “She doesn’t ski as much because when you get that little bit older, you’re very aware that you can hurt yourself.” Beckham confessed that he is not at that point yet and humorously expressed uncertainty about ever reaching that point, emphasizing his desire to continue adventurous activities at an older age.
However, despite his reluctance to take Victoria’s advice on being more careful with their bodies as they age, Beckham acknowledged that his age is beginning to affect his physical abilities. He noted the agility of his sons as they grew older, admitting to feeling less competitive as he noticed their increased speed and agility.

Reflecting on their journey, David and Victoria first met in 1997, and two years later, they tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Ireland. Since then, the couple has welcomed four children and ventured into various business endeavors, including Beckham’s co-ownership of the MLS side, Inter Miami, following his retirement in 2013.
