The family of Daniel Conway, a 32-year-old father from Swindon, has paid a heartfelt tribute following his tragic death in a car crash on the M4 near Leigh Delamere Services in the early hours of Sunday, November 30.
Daniel, known affectionately as Conway or Dan, was a beloved son, father, and friend whose positive outlook and infectious smile left a lasting impression on everyone around him. His family described him as a source of joy and kindness, always able to make people laugh with his beautiful energy.
“We are absolutely devastated at the loss of Daniel,” his family expressed. “Our lives are so much darker now without the light and sparkle Daniel brought to everyone who knew him. We appreciate all the kind messages and cards during this painful time and ask for privacy as we grieve.”

Another man, aged 29 and also from Swindon, who was in the vehicle with Daniel, is currently hospitalized with serious injuries. He has been bailed with conditions after being arrested at the scene on suspicion of failing to provide a breath or drug test and causing death by dangerous driving.
