A cyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision involving a car towing a caravan on Bath Road in Cheltenham on the evening of Thursday, 6 August.
Gloucestershire Police were called to the scene near the junction with Kew Place at approximately 5.30pm following reports of the accident. Upon arrival, officers found that the driver of the car had left the scene and failed to stop after the collision.
The injured cyclist was transported to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where they remain in a serious condition.

Police have launched an ongoing investigation and are actively reviewing CCTV footage as part of their enquiries. Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have relevant dashcam or other video recordings to come forward and assist with the investigation.
A Gloucestershire Police spokesperson said: “Emergency services responded to a collision involving a cyclist and a caravan, which was being towed by a car on Bath Road, near Kew Place, Cheltenham, at around 5.30pm on Thursday, 6 August.
“The driver of the car failed to stop and had already left the scene when officers arrived.
“The cyclist was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with serious injuries and remains there at this time.
“Our officers continue to investigate the incident and are conducting CCTV enquiries.
“We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or has any CCTV or dashcam footage that could assist our investigation to contact us.”
