A cyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision involving a car towing a caravan in Cheltenham. The incident occurred on Bath Road near the junction with Kew Place at approximately 5.30pm on Thursday, 6 August.
Emergency services attended the scene after receiving reports of the crash, which involved a cyclist and a caravan being pulled by a car. Upon police arrival, the driver of the car responsible had already fled the scene and failed to stop.
The injured cyclist was promptly taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, where they remain in a serious condition.

Gloucestershire Police are currently investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. They are also seeking relevant CCTV or dashcam footage that could assist their enquiries.
A police spokesperson stated: “Emergency services were called to Bath Road, Cheltenham, at around 5.30pm on Thursday, 6 August, following a report of a collision involving a cyclist and a caravan being towed by a car.
“The driver of the car involved did not stop and had left the scene by the time police arrived.
“The cyclist was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with serious injuries and remains there.
“We continue to investigate and are conducting CCTV enquiries. We urge anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant footage to contact us.”
