A woman in her 30s tragically lost her life after being struck by a bus in Cheltenham. The collision occurred at approximately 8:50 a.m. on Monday, March 16, near the junction of Prestbury Road and Whaddon Road.
Emergency responders rushed the cyclist to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with serious injuries. She was later transferred to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for further treatment but succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday, April 7.
Police have not released the cyclist’s name but confirmed that her family is receiving support from specially trained officers. The bus driver was unharmed, and no passengers were on board at the time of the crash.
