Forest Green Rovers have secured their second signing of the day, welcoming Isaac Moore on a season-long loan from Coventry City. The 19-year-old central midfielder, who recently signed a new three-year contract with Coventry, is eager to make an impact at The New Lawn following recovery from two significant injury spells.
Moore, a product of the Coventry City Academy, impressed during his time in youth football and was included in the senior matchday squad on four occasions last season, though he is yet to make his first team debut. His return to full fitness late in the 2024/25 season has opened the door for this loan move aimed at gaining valuable playing experience.
Forest Green Rovers’ manager Robbie Savage expressed his enthusiasm about the new acquisition, saying, “Isaac is a really enthusiastic lad who wants to come and play football. He’s 6ft 2in, box-to-box, has plenty of energy and sees this as an opportunity to come and learn.”

Savage also extended his gratitude to Frank Lampard and Coventry City for their trust in allowing one of their promising talents to join the club. Moore follows wide player Jayden Clarke as the second signing announced by Forest Green Rovers on the same day.
The club is actively strengthening its squad ahead of a preseason training camp in Germany, culminating in a mini-tournament in Weiler-Simmerberg on July 19.
