Countryfile’s Adam Henson Praised by Jeremy Clarkson’s Partner Lisa Hogan with a Playful Jab

Lisa Hogan, partner to Jeremy Clarkson, recently shared her admiration for Countryfile’s Adam Henson during an appearance at FarmFest 2026, a vibrant new festival celebrating the skills, produce, and livelihoods of British farmers. The event, held from May 22 to 24 at NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire, featured a diverse lineup including Alex James, Chris Moyles, and Charlie Ireland.

Adam Henson, one of the UK’s most recognizable farmers, was a natural highlight of the festival. During his segment, Adam introduced his lively sheepdog, Gwen, who appeared eager and energetic, leaping up to his waist. Gwen was set to perform alongside Lisa in a demonstration in the main arena.

In the footage, Adam guided Lisa as she learned to herd a small flock with Gwen’s help. He praised Lisa’s performance, saying it had gone “really well,” before asking for her thoughts. Lisa responded with a smile: “I’m really impressed with your dog. It listens to me more than a lot of people on the farm — whose name begins with J and ends with eremy Clarkson.”

The light-hearted moment was followed by a cutaway showing Jeremy Clarkson and his Clarkson’s Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper strolling into the field, before taking a Ford Ranger for a fun spin across the grass.

In related news, Lisa is set to present a new agricultural dating show titled Farming For Love, inspired by the reality series Farmer Wants a Wife. This seven-part series will follow single farmers seeking romance, providing an honest portrayal of farm life and relationships alike.

Lisa expressed her enthusiasm for the programme: “Farming is a way of life that requires resilience, patience, a lot of humour, and the same can be said for relationships. What I love about Farming for Love is how real it is — there is no hiding or skiving on a farm, and that honesty makes it a special way for people to connect, proven successful worldwide. I’m really looking forward to leading this flock in their search for romance.”

Meanwhile, Adam Henson revealed in a recent Cotswold Farm Park YouTube video that he may have “probably broken one of the rules” while working with Exmoor foals. After a horse whispering session, he admitted giving a young horse an apple treat — despite being told treats aren’t really needed. With patience and dedication, Adam continues working closely with his horses, gradually building trust and understanding.
