Countryfile’s Adam Henson Overwhelmed with Support After Sharing Heartfelt Farm Update

Countryfile presenter and farmer Adam Henson has received a wave of heartfelt support after sharing exciting news about his beloved farm. Living on the expansive 650-hectare Cotswolds Farm Park with his wife Charlie, Adam recently took to Instagram to introduce a new member to their farm family.

In his post, accompanied by a touching video, Adam wrote, “I recently picked up our Suffolk Punch mare Lexy from the Holbeache Stud. Met some amazing horses and left with exciting news…” He concluded by teasing a new episode coming soon, inviting followers to stay tuned for more updates.

Fans quickly responded, flooding the comments with praise for the beautiful horse and admiration for Adam’s dedication to preserving rare breeds. “Beautiful horses with big gentle hearts,” one follower commented. In a candid interview, Adam also reflected on the future of the farm. With his children pursuing careers outside farming—his daughter as an events organiser in Perth and his son as a financial advisor in Leeds—Adam revealed plans to downscale in the years to come. “When the tenancy runs out in 12 years, Charlie and I will move to a bungalow nearby in Winchcombe,” he shared. “We’ll keep a few sheep and dogs and continue to enjoy the beautiful countryside.”

Though it marks the end of an era for the family farm, Adam remains passionate about farming life and the legacy his family has built. His openness about life changes and commitment to the land have clearly resonated with many, evidenced by the supportive outpouring from his fans.
