The Royal Three Counties Show returns this weekend, promising to be a spectacular and joyous celebration of farming that draws more than 80,000 visitors each year. Running from June 12 to June 14 at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern, the event showcases the very best of agriculture from Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, and Worcestershire.
Visitors will be treated to countless opportunities to get close to a diverse range of animals, thanks to a record number of livestock entries. A highlight is the daily Grand Parade of Livestock, where hundreds of prize-winning animals are showcased in the main arena. BBC Countryfile presenter Adam Henson, a familiar face and voice at the show, will be providing insightful commentary throughout, sharing fascinating details about each breed on display.
Adam, who has been involved with the show since childhood—as a visitor, competitor, judge, and as a co-owner of Cotswold Farm Park—describes the event as a vibrant showcase of the varied agricultural landscape across the three counties. “There’s everything from sheep, beef, and dairy to strawberries, fruit, and arable crops, plus so much more. It’s a national event with livestock and horses coming from all over the UK,” he said.

More than just an exhibition, the show serves as a vital link connecting the public with farming life. “One of the many great things the show does is helping people understand food production while having a good time. It really is a joyous occasion,” Adam added.
The event also offers farmers and agricultural professionals an invaluable chance to come together, exchange ideas, discuss the latest research, and address their concerns for the future of farming. “Farming can be quite isolated, so celebrating together like this is something we should certainly do more often,” Adam noted.
This year, Gloucestershire takes the spotlight as the host county, and Adam is eagerly anticipating a display of its iconic breeds. Tickets for the Royal Three Counties Show 2026 start at £25, with free entry for under-16s.
