Countryfile Star Vick Hope Joyfully Returns to BBC Show Following Maternity Break

Vick Hope has made a warm and welcomed return to the BBC’s beloved show Countryfile, much to the delight of her fans. The popular presenter first joined the program in March this year, shortly before announcing she and her husband, DJ Calvin Harris, were expecting their first child.

After giving birth to baby boy Micah in July, Vick is now back on screen, featuring in the latest episode where she explores the iconic Stonehenge during the Winter Solstice—a highlight among Britain’s most famous prehistoric landmarks.

Sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the shoot on Instagram, Vick wrote: “Lovely to be back presenting @bbccountryfile. This evening we’re at Stonehenge for the Winter Solstice. Plus snapshots from following JMW Turner’s journey through the Lake District.”

Vick, 36, and Calvin, 41, got engaged in 2022 and tied the knot the following year. They joyfully announced the arrival of Micah in August, with Calvin sharing heartfelt words about his wife and their new son on social media. He described Vick as “a superhero” and expressed his awe and gratitude for their family’s newest member.

Vick also opened up about their home birth experience in Ibiza, surrounded by nature, love, and even chickens. She called baby Micah “magical” and described their first month with him as utterly enchanting.

Countryfile continues to captivate audiences with its blend of natural beauty, heartfelt storytelling, and engaging presenters like Vick Hope, who bring the British countryside to life on the small screen.
