Cotswolds Kitchen Firm Liquidates Owing Over £2 Million

Parlour Farm Kitchens Ltd, a kitchen renovation company based in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, has entered voluntary liquidation with debts exceeding £2 million. The company filed for winding up on January 29, as recorded on Companies House.

Financial records reveal that Parlour Farm Kitchens owes a total of £2,050,415. This sum includes over £150,000 owed to employees and nearly £300,000 owed to HM Revenue & Customs.

Griffin & King Insolvency has been appointed to oversee the liquidation process. Parlour Farm Kitchens, formerly known as The Antique Pine Dealer, was incorporated in 2001 but remained dormant until 2014. The business rebranded to its current name in 2004.

In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company received a six-figure loan through NatWest’s Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme after experiencing three months without income.

Despite being awarded the prestigious Manufacturing Guild Mark in 2024 by The Furniture Makers’ Company—a respected City of London institution supporting the furnishing industry—Parlour Farm Kitchens was unable to sustain operations.

Prior to the liquidation filing, the company’s directors Christine Mussell, Dino Mussell, and Austen Rowley registered a new company, Parlour Farm Kitchens & Cabinet Makers Ltd, on November 7, 2025.
