Cotswolds Designer Outlet Expansion to Introduce Up to 90 Stores

The anticipated opening of the Cotswolds Designer Outlet near the M5 has already attracted significant attention, prompting the acceleration of its phase 2 expansion. With a growing roster of renowned brands committing to the center, the first phase, set to open this July, is already 87% leased out, a trend that has prompted the earlier-than-planned commencement of phase 2.

Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger are the latest additions to the already impressive lineup, bringing the phase one space to 119,150 sq ft, with the entire outlet set to span 186,000 sq ft and accommodate up to 90 stores once fully completed. Christine Grace, leasing director at Multi-Realm, expressed excitement about the momentum building up, and the interest from brands looking to be part of the Phase 2 program.

The Cotswolds Designer Outlet, located off junction 9 of the M5, is positioned to offer a premium and affordable shopping experience. The strategic pre-letting of phase one has been described as ‘extraordinary,’ with the scheme on track to reach 98% occupancy before opening. The development will also include a Dobbies Garden Centre, a Waitrose Foodhall, and over 1,000 homes, aligning with Robert Hitchins' long-term vision for the site.
