Roadchef has unveiled new Co-op stores at its M5 Strensham service areas, located on both the northbound and southbound carriageways near Tewkesbury.
These new outlets offer customers a variety of amenities, including an in-store bakery, a floral section, and Costa Coffee Express. This rollout is part of a collaboration between Roadchef and Co-op Wholesale that will introduce the Co-op brand to eight Roadchef locations in total.
Kevin Whitehouse, Roadchef’s Retail, Procurement & Supply Chain Director, commented: “We’re delighted to bring Co-op’s distinctive convenience offering to Strensham Northbound and Southbound, marking the brand’s first presence at our service areas. Whether travellers are embarking on a journey, returning home, or simply taking a break, they now have better access to fresh, responsibly sourced food from a trusted household name.”

This initiative is a key element of Roadchef’s continuous investment in upgrading its facilities, ensuring Strensham remains a preferred stop for motorists seeking high-quality, convenient services.
The introduction of Co-op stores complements recent enhancements at Strensham Services, including a new McDonald’s Drive Thru. Similarly, Roadchef’s transformation of Folkestone Services—with new Drive-Thru options from McDonald’s and Costa—highlights its commitment to increasing variety and convenience for travelers.
