A 22-year-old man was left with a broken jaw requiring surgery after being attacked by a gang outside a club in Cheltenham. The violent incident took place just before 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, outside Home and Botanic on St George’s Road.
Police released CCTV footage showing two to three men involved in the assault. The victim suffered fractures to his jaw in two places, necessitating immediate surgery. Authorities say he will require additional surgery in the coming months to fully recover.
At this time, descriptions of the attackers have not been made public. Gloucestershire Police are urging anyone who witnessed the attack or has video evidence to come forward. Witnesses are asked to contact the police, referencing incident number 101 from March 18.

An official statement from Gloucestershire Police reads: “A man sustained a broken jaw after a group assaulted him in Cheltenham. We are appealing for witnesses to help identify those responsible. The assault occurred at around 4:53 a.m. outside Home and Botanic on St George’s Road. Officers have reviewed CCTV footage showing two or three men involved.”
