Claudia Winkleman’s Secret Move to a £3 Million Cotswolds Manor

Claudia Winkleman, the beloved star of The Traitors, has reportedly made a discreet move to a lavish £3 million manor house in the picturesque Cotswolds. While she is usually based in her elegant London townhouse, the broadcaster and her family have secured a countryside retreat to unwind during weekends and holidays.

The property, nestled in the heart of the so-called “celeb land,” boasts notable neighbours including David Beckham, Guy Ritchie, and Jeremy Clarkson. Claudia’s husband, Kris Thykier, a film producer, has even become friends with Guy Ritchie, adding a touch of star-studded charm to their rural refuge.

According to insiders, Claudia and Kris have been renting this historic manor for about three years, providing their family—children Jake, 20, Matilda, 17, and Arthur, 12—a peaceful escape from the capital’s fast pace. Their London home near Marble Arch remains a cherished sanctuary, noted for its exclusivity and proximity to neighbours like former Prime Minister Tony Blair and his wife, Cherie.

Though Claudia usually maintains privacy around her family life, she occasionally shares glimpses of their stylish London residence on social media. The interior showcases a Scandinavian-inspired design, with neutral tones creating a calming atmosphere. A standout feature is a floor-to-ceiling bookcase packed with books, set against soft sage green walls that perfectly complement the decor.

In 2017, Claudia gave fans a rare peek inside her luxurious bathroom, where white marble walls and floors surround a free-standing bathtub with elegant silver fixtures. Her kitchen mirrors this refined aesthetic, boasting expansive backlit marble slabs and subtle grey hues. She has also revealed a modern, high-tech fridge that keeps her refreshed after long filming days.

The whitewashed staircase, accented by a trendy jute carpet, leads to a spacious balcony—another elegant touch in her stylish home. In interviews, Claudia has expressed affection for the simple comforts of her London life: “I can leave my house at 4am and buy a kebab, rent a movie and get some shampoo. I love my shower, my bread bin and our tortoise, Yoshi.”

Claudia is set to return to BBC One screens at 8pm with the latest series of The Traitors, a show she has hosted since its successful launch in 2022. Reflecting on the unexpected popularity of the series, she remarked in Grazia magazine, “We didn’t foresee this. We went to Scotland with the amazing people who make it and a pair of red fingerless gloves and gave it our best shot. I think people like it because the psychology is extraordinary – just watching people work out whether they’re being lied to. The dynamics feel addictive. I’m completely obsessed.”
