Kaleb Cooper, the beloved star of Clarkson’s Farm, has addressed recent accusations labeling him a ‘fake farmer’, firmly standing by his passion and dedication to farming. Since the Amazon Prime show debuted in 2021, the 27-year-old has won viewers over with his candid humor and close friendship with Jeremy Clarkson.
Though often seen assisting at Diddly Squat Farm on the show, Kaleb balances his on-screen role by managing his own smallholding and authoring three books. When discussing his future, he revealed a desire to expand his horizons by launching a farming contracting business. “I want to take over the world. I want to be the biggest contractor there is!” he declared.
Kaleb also addressed the stigma some newcomers to farming face: “A lot of people like me who have not come from a farming background get a lot of hate, people saying, ‘Oh, you’re just a fake farmer. You’ve not been born into it.’ It doesn’t matter if you’re not born into it or not. What matters the most is that you get out of bed in the morning and you go and farm.”

This season of Clarkson’s Farm showcased Jeremy Clarkson taking on the challenge of opening a pub on the farm. Kaleb praised the venture, highlighting the benefits of having greater control over menu ingredients sourced from the farm itself. “The pub is awesome. It’s got a great atmosphere, the views are incredible, and it’s in a charming, remote location,” he said, acknowledging that, like farming and dam-building, running a pub is another new experience for the team.
While the current season has wrapped, fans can look forward to the next series underway. Earlier this year, Lisa Hogan shared a delightful moment from shooting, spotting a newborn lamb in the field – a heartwarming scene fitting for the show’s rural charm.
Clarkson’s Farm continues to capture the hearts of viewers by showcasing the ups and downs of country life with honesty and humor. The series is available to stream on Amazon Prime.
