The fourth season of Clarkson’s Farm on Prime Video brought new challenges and faces to the iconic Diddly Squat Farm. Alongside Jeremy Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper, viewers met Harriet Cowan, a full-time nurse and experienced farmer who stepped in to help while Kaleb was away on tour.
The season saw the team deal with a troublesome male boar, Harvey, who had been bullying other pigs. Following veterinary advice, Jeremy and the crew were relieved to see Harvey leave the farm. However, a more bittersweet departure was on the horizon.

In episode three, Jeremy announced Harriet’s imminent farewell. As she packed up her belongings, Jeremy expressed his appreciation: “So that’s it, you’re off,” he said. When Harriet confirmed she was returning home to Derbyshire, Jeremy took a moment to thank her sincerely. “You have been an absolute star. Thanks ever so much for all you have done. You have been absolutely brilliant. You saved my life, you did,” he said as they shared a heartfelt hug.
Harriet’s arrival had been arranged by Jeremy’s friend Charlie Ireland to cover Kaleb’s absence. With her background in farming and nursing, Harriet quickly became an invaluable part of the team. Though her stint was always meant to be temporary, her departure left Jeremy visibly saddened.
Before she left, Jeremy joked about calling her again when the farm hit another snag, and Harriet happily promised to lend a hand anytime. She even playfully invited Lisa, Jeremy’s partner, to stay in the static caravan she’d been living in if needed. Jeremy warmly approved of the idea, waving goodbye to his “lifesaver” and calling her “a superstar.”
Initially, Kaleb wasn’t thrilled about another young farmer joining Diddly Squat, but the two quickly formed a friendly bond. Harriet’s time on the farm may have been short, but her impact was long-lasting, demonstrating the strength and spirit that the show has become known for.
