A young child was taken to hospital after a vehicle collided with a parked car outside Rowanfield Infant School on Alstone Lane in Cheltenham. The incident occurred around 1:15 pm on Thursday, May 15.
According to witnesses, an elderly male driver accidentally struck a woman and her four-year-old grandson as she was helping the child out of the parked car. Gloucestershire Police responded promptly to the collision, which involved two vehicles.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Police confirmed the details: “We received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Alstone Lane at 1:15 pm today. One car hit a parked vehicle, and as a precaution, a child was taken to hospital for assessment.”
