Cheltenham is set to welcome its newest independent brewery, Siren Craft Brew, which has announced that it will open its doors later this month. The brewery will take over the former BrewDog premises at the Brewery Quarter, a site with a rich brewing heritage spanning more than 230 years. BrewDog closed this location earlier this year in March after entering administration.
Originally founded in Berkshire in 2013, Siren Craft Brew has grown into an award-winning brand with three venues across its home county. The company has expanded significantly, brewing the equivalent of nearly four million pints of beer annually. The Cheltenham venue will mark the first time Siren has established a brewery outside Berkshire.
Patrons can expect an extensive selection including over 30 lines of brewery-fresh beer, cask ale, wines, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and a carefully curated food menu, all brought to the heart of Cheltenham’s town centre.

The new brewery is scheduled to open to the public from 4pm on Monday, 28 September. To celebrate the launch, Siren will offer the first 1,000 pints of their award-winning Gluten Free Session IPA, Lumina, for free during the first week between 4pm and 5pm, concluding on Sunday, 4 October.
In addition, Siren Craft Brew recently launched a Crowdfunder campaign that will remain open until Wednesday, 23 September. Contributors will receive a 150% return on their investment and gain access to an exclusive pre-launch party at the brewery. This event is set for 5.30pm on Friday, 25 September and is open to all supporters who have pledged.
Regina Aponte, the general manager of Siren Cheltenham, expressed enthusiasm about the opening: “I’m excited to finally open the doors and be part of the Siren family, showcasing our delicious and vast range of beers. It’s been a real journey getting here, building a team and shaping the vibe we want people to feel the moment they walk in.
“With the help of my wonderful AGM, Jenny, we’ve managed to pull together a stellar team. Our aim is for Siren Cheltenham to be known for its top‑notch hospitality, amazing food, and the best beer lineup in Cheltenham.
“We want every guest to feel welcomed and to leave with a smile on their face, content and maybe with a few cans in their pockets!”
