Cheltenham is set to welcome its newest independent brewery as Siren Craft Brew announces its opening date for the end of September. The acclaimed brewery will establish itself in the town’s Brewery Quarter, occupying the former BrewDog premises that closed earlier this year after the company entered administration in March.
Founded in Berkshire in 2013, Siren Craft Brew has developed into an award-winning brand, currently operating three venues in its home county. The brewery is projected to produce nearly four million pints of beer in 2026. This new Cheltenham location marks Siren’s first brewery outside Berkshire.
At the Cheltenham site, Siren Craft Brew will offer more than 30 lines including fresh brewery beers, cask ales, wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options. Complementing the beverages will be a carefully curated food menu, promising a high-quality dining experience in the town centre.

The brewery will officially open to the public at 4pm on Monday, 28 September. To celebrate, the first 1,000 pints of Siren’s award-winning Gluten Free Session IPA, Lumina, will be served free of charge during the first week, every day from 4pm to 5pm until Sunday, 4 October.
Siren Cheltenham also launched a Crowdfunder last month, inviting supporters to invest with a guaranteed 150% return. The fundraiser remains open until Wednesday, 23 September. Contributors will gain exclusive access to a pre-launch party at the venue, scheduled for 5.30pm on Friday, 25 September.
Regina Aponte, general manager at Siren Cheltenham, expressed her enthusiasm: “I’m excited to finally open the doors and be part of the Siren family, showcasing our delicious and vast range of beers. It’s been a real journey getting here, building a team and shaping the vibe we want people to feel the moment they walk in.”
She added, “With the help of my wonderful assistant manager, Jenny, we’ve managed to pull together a stellar team. Our aim is for Siren Cheltenham to be known for its top-notch hospitality, amazing food, and the best beer lineup in Cheltenham. We want every guest to feel welcomed and to leave with a smile on their face, content and maybe with a few cans in their pockets!”
Notably, the Cheltenham venue occupies a site boasting over 230 years of brewing history, adding a rich heritage to Siren Craft Brew’s latest venture.
