The first half saw United creating several scoring opportunities, with Kris Mohan’s free-kick narrowly missing the target and Green’s header from a corner sailing over the crossbar.
Tigers, however, threatened United’s goal with a shot from Jamie Lewis, which was expertly parried by United’s goalkeeper Marc Pardoe.
As the second half began, Tigers came close to breaking the deadlock as Liam Dix’s powerful strike struck the post, but it was United who ultimately capitalized on their chances.
Despite Tigers' fierce offensive efforts in the closing stages of the match, including a close-range attempt from Lewis Peters, they were unable to find an equalizer, with United emerging as the deserving winners of the Senior Charity Cup.
