Cheltenham Town is set to assess Harry Pinchard, the 23-year-old midfielder from Gloucester City, during a pre-season trial, Gloucestershire Live reports.
Pinchard has been a key player for Gloucester City over the past two seasons, impressing with his attacking prowess in midfield. He joined Gloucester City in the summer of 2023 from Hereford FC, having developed through the Cardiff City academy system.
The Welsh midfielder is versatile, capable of playing on the left wing, as an attacking number 10, or in a central midfield role. His adaptability is expected to be a valuable asset as Cheltenham Town prepares for the upcoming campaign.

Pinchard will be among several trialists invited to Cheltenham’s pre-season training, which begins next Thursday. Although his contract with Gloucester City runs until next summer, a release clause was triggered following the club’s failure to secure immediate promotion back to the National League North.
Gloucester City fell short after losing to AFC Totton in the play-off final, having previously advanced by defeating Walton & Hersham on penalties in the semi-finals. After this setback, the Tigers’ manager Mike Cook departed, with Dafydd Williams taking over the managerial role.
