Cheltenham Town have announced a pre-season friendly against newly-promoted League One side MK Dons, set to take place on Saturday, August 1, with a 3pm kickoff at Whaddon Road. This marks the Robins' first home friendly ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
Before welcoming MK Dons, Cheltenham will face non-league opposition in two away friendlies: Slimbridge on July 14 and Evesham United on July 18. Steve Cotterill’s squad will return to training on July 1, then embark on a week-long training camp in Spain starting July 4.
Ticket prices for the MK Dons match have been set at £12 for adults and £6 for students, seniors, and under-18s when purchased in advance. Prices will increase by £2 on match day.

Looking ahead, the 2023/24 League Two fixtures will be released at noon on Thursday, June 25. Cheltenham’s League Two season kicks off the weekend of August 15, but the Carabao Cup first round is scheduled a week earlier, with the draw also taking place on June 25.
The Carabao Cup first round draw will include the two preliminary round winners plus the other 68 EFL clubs, separated into northern and southern regional sections.
Meanwhile, the summer transfer window officially opened on Monday, with Cheltenham expected to strengthen their squad ahead of their upcoming Spanish training camp.
