A third teenager has been arrested in connection with the murder investigation in Cheltenham following the death of a man in his 40s.
The 18-year-old man from Cheltenham was taken into custody on Monday, December 22, related to the fatal incident that occurred in the St Paul’s area on Tuesday, December 16. Police have not disclosed specific charges against him at this time.
This arrest follows previous charges brought against two boys aged 15 and 17. Both appeared at Bristol Crown Court on Monday, December 22, facing charges of murder, robbery, and possession of a bladed article. The teens have been remanded in custody until February 27, 2026.

Gloucestershire Police continue to investigate the case through their Major Crime Investigation Team and urge anyone with information to come forward.
The fatal incident took place around 2:45 pm on December 16 in an alleyway between Albert Street and Hungerford Street in the St Paul’s district. Responding officers found the man deceased at the scene, with the incident believed to involve a stabbing.
The police appeal emphasizes the importance of public assistance in progressing the investigation and ensuring justice is served.
