A 37-year-old man from Cheltenham has been sentenced to three years and four months in prison after admitting to supplying drugs over a two-year period.
Thomas Blomer, residing on Wimborne Close in Up Hatherley, pleaded guilty to seven drug-related offences. His conviction follows a police operation prompted by intelligence identifying him as a local drug supplier.
During a search of Blomer’s property, officers discovered and confiscated 76.5 grams of cocaine hydrochloride, 28 grams of a mix of MDMA and ketamine, and 128 grams of cannabis. The combined estimated value of the drugs seized was nearly £10,000.

An iPhone seized during the raid contained 18 text message conversations that revealed Blomer’s involvement in selling controlled substances between November 2022 and November 2024. Analysis of these communications led to further investigation, including the freezing of Blomer’s bank accounts after evidence showed he instructed buyers to transfer payment.
Following his arrest on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, Blomer was formally charged. He later admitted to all charges in court and was also ordered to pay £270 under Section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
All drugs and paraphernalia seized have since been destroyed by authorities.
A spokesperson for the Cheltenham and Tewkesbury Local Policing Area expressed relief at Blomer’s conviction, emphasizing the police’s ongoing commitment to removing drug dealers from Gloucestershire communities.
