Cheltenham Festival Gold Cup Day Officially Sold Out

With only a week remaining until the Cheltenham Festival kicks off, excitement is reaching fever pitch—especially as the final day, Gold Cup Day, has now officially sold out.

Scheduled for Friday, March 13, Gold Cup Day marks the grand finale of the prestigious racing week. The headline event, the Gold Cup race itself, starts at 4 p.m. and spans three miles and two furlongs. The winner will claim one of the most coveted trophies in National Hunt racing.

As of March 2, all tickets for Gold Cup Day are sold out, though a limited number of hospitality packages are still available for those seeking a premium festival experience.

Other days during the festival—from Tuesday, March 10 to Thursday, March 12—still have some tickets left, but availability is dwindling fast. Champions Day on March 10 is almost sold out as well, reflecting the festival’s immense popularity.

Ticket prices vary depending on the enclosure. The Best Mate enclosure, offering a prime view near the finish line, starts at £60 per person. For those looking for a luxury experience, the Club Enclosure offers exclusive access to premium public areas and unparalleled views of the winning post, priced at £115 per person.

Key races throughout the week include the Unibet Champion Hurdle on Champions Day, the Queen Mother Champion Steeple Chase on Ladies’ Day (Wednesday, March 11), and the Ryanair Steeple Chase on Thursday, March 12—also themed in honor of St Patrick’s Day.

With such limited availability remaining, racegoers eager to attend the Cheltenham Festival should act quickly to secure their spot for what promises to be an unforgettable week of top-class racing.
