Gloucestershire police are appealing for information following a hit-and-run collision in Cheltenham last week. The incident occurred at approximately 7:55 pm on Friday, March 27, near The Umbrella pub on Orchard Way.
A male cyclist in his 30s was involved in a collision with a car and was transported to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle, described as a silver or grey saloon car, failed to stop to offer assistance or exchange details and fled the scene heading towards Princess Elizabeth Way.
Authorities have reviewed CCTV footage and continue to investigate the incident. They urge the driver involved to come forward and provide a full account. Additionally, police are calling on any witnesses or individuals with dashcam recordings who have not yet spoken to officers to get in touch, as their information could be crucial in identifying the responsible party.
