Channel 5 is set to bring back Our Great Yorkshire Life, a heartwarming series featuring Reuben Owen and showcasing the vibrant life and heritage of Yorkshire. Produced by Daisy Beck Studios, the team behind “Fletcher’s on the Farm,” the programme highlights the county’s cultural richness, thriving communities, and remarkable residents.
Narrated by Dean Andrews, known for his role as Will Taylor in ITV’s Emmerdale, the series has garnered a devoted audience with its affectionate portrayal of the people and landscapes that define England’s largest county.
Entering its latest series, Our Great Yorkshire Life explores the full range of Yorkshire’s diverse environments-from the moorlands and rolling Dales to the North Yorkshire coast and bustling cities. The show shares stories of both familiar faces and everyday individuals who contribute to the county’s unique character.

Reuben Owen returns to television screens following the success of his own show, Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales, which concluded earlier this year. Now 22, Reuben first gained public attention in 2018 when he appeared alongside his parents Amanda and Clive Owen on Channel 5’s Our Yorkshire Farm. This documentary series, which ran for five seasons until 2022, followed their family life on the farm, with Reuben often helping with livestock and maintenance tasks.
Forging his own path, Reuben has developed a successful career in the groundworks and heavy plant machinery industry, diverging from traditional farming. His entrepreneurial pursuits were chronicled in his own Channel 5 programme, which followed his efforts operating a heavy plant machinery and groundwork business, as reported by the Mirror.
The new series of Our Great Yorkshire Life, which originally debuted in 2022, was filmed last year and features some returning personalities alongside new residents from Yorkshire’s scenic countryside.
