Change to Cheltenham Town’s Pre-Season Schedule

Cheltenham Town’s pre-season friendly against Slimbridge has been moved to Saturday, July 25, with kickoff set for 2pm. Originally scheduled for July 14 at Thornhill Park, the match was rescheduled due to the World Cup semi-final taking place that evening.

As a result, Steve Cotterill’s squad will now open their pre-season with an away game at Evesham United on Saturday, July 18, kicking off at 3pm. Following the Slimbridge match, Cheltenham will host MK Dons on Saturday, August 1.

Cheltenham Town’s competitive season begins with a Carabao Cup first-round fixture against Championship side Charlton Athletic on Saturday, August 8, at 5:30pm. Their League Two campaign kicks off on August 15 with a home game against Rotherham United at the EV Charger Points Stadium, starting at 3pm.
