Several players released by Gloucester Rugby are set to feature across the English Championship next season, as multiple departing Cherry and White players secure new contracts.
Rory Taylor, the former England U20 fly-half, has signed with Worcester Warriors for the upcoming season. The reformed Warriors have also persuaded ex-Gloucester captain Billy Twelvetrees to come out of retirement in a dual player-coach role, aiming to bring valuable experience to their backline.
Tighthead prop Alfie Petch will return to his home county of Cornwall to join the Cornish Pirates after facing limited opportunities at Gloucester following his move from Northampton Saints. Petch had previously spent time on loan with the Pirates during his stint at Gloucester. Joining him at the Pirates will be winger Matty Ward, 23, and hooker Morgan Nelson, both set to strengthen the squad next season.
