Celebrity Retreat: Ben Miller’s Unconventional Cotswolds Home

Renowned TV star, Ben Miller, has revealed his fondness for his ‘bonkers’ home in Gloucestershire, having relocated from London in pursuit of more space. The actor, famous for his roles in Death in Paradise and the Johnny English film series, now resides in the picturesque landscapes of the Cotswolds.

Living near Cirencester with his wife, Jessica, and their children, Ben explained to The Telegraph that they were compelled to move out of the capital in search of a larger residence. The necessity arose as their three-year-old son was full of energy, literally bouncing off the walls in their previous home.

Initially considering Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire, the family was deterred by the exorbitant housing prices, prompting them to explore further afield. After dismissing several underwhelming options, they chanced upon their dream abode in a magazine and promptly made it their own.

Their unique Cirencester residence comprises interconnected cottages, offering an unconventional layout that suits the family’s requirements perfectly. With separate living quarters for their teenage son and young children, as well as a separate workspace, the home’s eccentricity and charm have captivated Ben and his family.

Ben is set to star in the upcoming BBC One show Austin, alongside a talented cast including Michael Theo, Sally Phillips, and Billie Piper.
