In addition to drug offences, the man is suspected of insurance fraud, leading to his vehicle being seized. Authorities have confirmed that the vehicle will now be destroyed as part of the enforcement action.

The policing team noted that local residents recently reported the man to them, raising concerns that he was regularly engaging in suspicious activity within Cirencester.

Further investigations revealed that the individual had also been traveling daily to Stroud, suggesting a wider area of operation.

“Removing this individual from the streets has made an immediate positive impact on the safety of both Cirencester and Stroud communities,” the team added.

Finally, the officers expressed gratitude to the residents of Cirencester and Stroud for their vigilance and urged anyone with similar concerns to continue reporting suspicious behaviour.
