Between 11:45 pm on Tuesday, May 27, and 8:00 am on Wednesday, May 28, a burglary occurred at a private residence in the village of Todenham, located in the Cotswolds. The perpetrators gained access by forcing the back door open and made off with valuable silverware that held significant sentimental value to the homeowner.
Following the incident, Gloucestershire Police launched a thorough investigation, including house-to-house enquiries and reviewing CCTV footage in the vicinity. A forensic examination of the property has also been carried out to gather evidence.
A spokesperson from Gloucestershire Police stated, “Enquiries remain ongoing. We urge anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area during the stated time or has information regarding those involved to come forward. Residents with CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage relevant to the case are encouraged to get in touch.”
