Buckingham Palace Responds to King’s ‘Profound Concerns’ Over Prince Andrew Allegations

Buckingham Palace has issued a statement highlighting King Charles III’s “profound concern” regarding the ongoing allegations against his brother, Prince Andrew, formally known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor. The King has pledged his readiness to assist law enforcement if approached in connection with these claims.

Thames Valley Police are currently reviewing allegations that Prince Andrew improperly shared confidential information obtained during his tenure as the UK’s special trade envoy with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The police’s investigation is fueled by a recent release of millions of documents from U.S. authorities related to Epstein, which have intensified scrutiny over the monarchy and political circles.

A palace spokesperson emphasized, “The King has expressed his deep concern both in statements and through unprecedented actions as these serious allegations surrounding Mr Mountbatten-Windsor come to light. While it is for Mr Mountbatten-Windsor himself to respond to these claims, Buckingham Palace stands ready to fully support Thames Valley Police if and when they make contact.”

The statement reaffirmed the royal family’s ongoing commitment to victims of abuse: “Their Majesties’ thoughts and sympathies remain with the victims of any and all forms of abuse.”

So far, Buckingham Palace has not been directly contacted by Thames Valley Police regarding this matter. Meanwhile, the Prince and Princess of Wales made a public declaration of concern over the Epstein case—their first official remarks on the issue—stating they are “deeply concerned” about the continuous revelations and that their thoughts remain with the victims.
