Cheltenham Town is preparing to bring back attacking midfielder Isaac Hutchinson on loan from Bristol Rovers, according to Gloucestershire Live.
The 25-year-old midfielder first joined Cheltenham Town during the summer transfer window, impressively netting eight goals in just 18 starts and a substitute appearance. Hutchinson quickly became a fan favourite at Whaddon Road thanks to his energetic performances and goal-scoring ability.
However, Bristol Rovers recalled the midfielder on January 6. Since then, Hutchinson featured in Rovers’ EFL Trophy match against Plymouth Argyle on January 13 and made appearances against Colchester United and Salford City in League Two. His time on the pitch has been limited recently, including being substituted at halftime by manager Steve Evans in the Salford game and missing the squad for the Newport County match.

With the January transfer window deadline approaching, Hutchinson is expected to rejoin Cheltenham Town on loan alongside Wrexham players Harry Ashfield and Mo Faal. Manager Steve Cotterill’s side will prepare for their upcoming home match against MK Dons this Saturday at 3 pm.
This loan move aligns with Cheltenham’s recent signings this month, which include George Nurse, Cole Deeming, and Josh Davison, as well as converting Jake Bickerstaff’s loan from Wrexham into a permanent deal, as the Robins look to strengthen their squad in League Two.
