Boy Stabbed in Stroud Park Taken to Hospital

A 15-year-old boy was hospitalised following a stabbing incident near a park in Stroud on Saturday evening, 12 September. Emergency services responded to reports around 7:25pm of a stabbing involving two teenage boys at a park near Slad Road. The victim was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment; fortunately, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Following the incident, police conducted a search of the surrounding area and subsequently arrested an 18-year-old boy on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm. He remains in police custody at this time.

Authorities have indicated that those involved are known to each other, and the attack is being treated as an isolated incident. Gloucestershire Police are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with information, including potential CCTV footage, to come forward to assist with their inquiries.
