Boots has unveiled significant enhancements to its UK stores as part of an expanded effort to support weight loss this summer. The nationwide health, wellness, and beauty retailer is introducing new GLP-1 zones in over 220 stores, designed to make products, services, and expert advice more accessible to customers both on the high street and online.
These dedicated zones offer a carefully curated selection of products aimed at addressing common challenges faced during weight loss. They include items targeted at gastro and gut health, skin elasticity, hair loss, sleep, energy, and nutrition, providing comprehensive support throughout the weight loss journey.
Jamie Kerruish, Boots' chief healthcare officer, emphasised the complexity of weight loss journeys for many individuals. He said, “For some, a weight loss journey can often be complex, but by carefully selecting products that provide all-round support and making them easy to find in our stores, we can best help customers and cater for what they need.”

He added, “We continue to grow our weight-loss offering both digitally and in-store, expanding the range of clinically proven options that can be tailored to an individual’s preferences, lifestyle and personal needs. Our holistic offering covering before, during and following treatment seeks to ensure customers have everything they need to make long-lasting, sustainable changes that can improve their health outcomes.”
In addition to product offerings, selected Boots stores now provide a private in-store weight loss treatment service. This service, subject to eligibility and availability, delivers access to professional advice and GLP-1 treatments for people living with obesity or for those who have found it challenging to lose weight through lifestyle changes alone.
This in-store service complements Boots’ existing digital weight loss support, available via the Boots Online Doctor platform. Customers seeking further advice or information about weight loss treatments can also consult Independent Prescribing Pharmacists available in stores, ensuring expert guidance is readily accessible.
